Broadband Access Systems
Telco copper is limited by the laws of physics, while users’ bandwidth grows by 50 % per year, which is almost like Moore’s law. FTTH/FTTP might seem like chosen technology but telcos have to care about ROI as well. It is our mission to provide access systems with latest last mile technologies (SHDSL,ADSL2+,VDSL2,G.fast) that enable telcos to provide voice and data services over existing copper infrastructure in combination with fibre.
Our system are carefully designed for easy installation and with taking special care about power consumption. Typically, systems have many powering options: Local, Remote and Reverse while the housings are ultra-compact. Systems support long-term operation without maintenance. All these features are in great support of telcos positive business case.
Latest product families AVX and EFX are ultra-compact ONUs with VDSL2 and G.fast technologies respectively. They give ILECs and CLECs a chance to provide premium Triple Play services to the customers in a very economical way, using existing in-house copper telephone installation.
MiniMSAN is ultra-compact remotely powered mini MSAN providing four (4) combined POTS and ADSL2+ ports. It can use SHDSL or fiberfor data backhaul. It is a perfect solution for replacing narrow band pair-gain systems that are still in use.
EMX is a SHDSL based pair gain system, which may provide 16 POTS connections plus Ethernet Bridge over single copper pair. RTs are remotely powered.
EMX-PF1 is a SHDSL based backhaul solution for Wi-Fi spot, which works over one copper pair and still provides service for legacy payphone. Perfect solution for providing Wi-Fi service over existing network of legacy payphones. POTS, Ethernet and power over single copper pair!
Mission-Critical Wireline Networks for public safety
Nowadays we are facing a fast growth in telecommunication technology. Every day the data transmission speeds are getting faster. The robust traditional telephony powered by Central Office battery is being replaced with IP telephony which is powered by consumer‘s mains. The robust long-lasting protocols based on loop voltages and currents are being replaced by every-day changing TCP-IP protocols that are exposed to software bugs and hackers. With development of GSM, Wifiand other wireless networks, the mobility is also increasing. But so is vulnerability! Never in the history were the communications so fragile. In case of disaster circumstances all the electricity may be down and (consequently) also telecommunications, including dedicated public safety networks (TETRA or LTE based). One might have some radio P2P connection but it would be very difficult to build a network. A voice network that could quickly and reliably connect the spots, which should be handling the disaster crisis: Disaster task forces, Civil protection headquarters, Red Cross units, Hospitals, Logistics centers, Fire Brigades, Weather stations, etc.
APM-40 system is fast and reliable solution to establish comprehensive telephone network in disastrous situation. All one needs is a pair of copper/steel wire and several APM-40 telephone terminals.
